Introducing WAF Advanced: ML-Powered Threat Detection

Today we're launching WAF Advanced — the result of 18 months of ML research and petabytes of traffic analysis.

The model

At its core is a transformer model trained on 50 billion HTTP requests, including labeled attack traffic from our threat intelligence partners. It produces a threat score for every request in under 1ms.

What it catches

In our beta, WAF Advanced blocked 99.97% of known attack patterns and detected 84% of zero-day payloads — attacks our signature-based WAF had never seen — with a false-positive rate of 0.003%.

Bot management

We've integrated bot fingerprinting into the same pipeline. Headless browser traffic, credential stuffing bots, and scraper farms are classified and can be challenged, throttled, or blocked based on your policy.

Pricing

WAF Advanced is $149/month. Existing WAF Basic customers can upgrade at any time from the dashboard with zero downtime.
